• At your evaluation, we’ll discuss your medical history and have a thorough conversation about the symptoms you are experiencing and the impact they are having on your life. You’ll be asked questions about your bladder, bowel, and sexual function. We’ll discuss the goals you have for therapy, and answer any questions you may have. We may assess your breathing, posture, strength, and range of motion. Depending on your comfort level and symptoms, we may perform an external or internal assessment of your pelvic floor muscles. We will collaborate on an appropriate plan of care, and you’ll walk away with tangible next steps to immediately begin your course of treatment.

  • I use a variety of internal and external manual therapy techniques such as trigger point release, myofascial release, and scar mobilization, individualized strengthening and flexibility exercises, nervous system regulation, breathing exercises and strategies, lifestyle and behavioral education, or activity and environmental modifications.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and am not contracted with insurance companies, however I am able to provide an invoice that you may be able to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if you have “out-of-network benefits”. Please contact your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits.

By not having to spend my time and energy working with insurance companies, I am able to provide longer and more individualized treatment sessions focused on achieving goals and outcomes that matter to you. It also allows me to spend more time communicating with you between appointments, develop tailored and individualized resources for you to use throughout treatment, and earn a living wage. I will always do my best to help you access care, whether it ends up being with me or someone else.

  • You deserve access to high quality pelvic floor care regardless of your financial situation or insurance coverage. If you are interested in sliding scale rates and payment plans, please reach out to me via the contact form or email.

    I also accept HSA/FSA cards.

  • No, I treat any person regardless of their anatomy, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

  • Definitely not. Anything that happens in your treatment sessions is done with your explicit consent and based on your comfort level. If you are not comfortable with an internal examination of your pelvic floor muscles, there are plenty of alternatives we can discuss based on your symptoms.

  • The number of appointments you need will depend on a range of factors, including what the issue is, how long it has been going on, how you are progressing, how much time you are able to allot for your home program, and other factors. At your evaluation, we can discuss your plan of care and an estimated treatment timeline.

  • Most patients are seen shortly after their 6 week postpartum checkup. If you think you may benefit from being seen sooner, please reach out! I do not perform any internal assessments or treatment prior to your 6 week check-up with your provider.
